Sliced Grilled Beef with Barbecue Glaze with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena

INGREDIENTS for 4 people:

800 g beef fillet or sirloin
1 clove of garlic
3 sprigs of rosemary
Carandini Barbecue Glaze with “Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP” to taste
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Peel the garlic and cut it into slices. Put the beef fillet or sirloin into a bowl and season with three tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkle of pepper and salt. Add the garlic and a few sprigs of rosemary. Spread the sauce on both sides of the fillet and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour.

After the necessary time, remove the meat from its marinade and dab both sides with a kitchen towel so that the outer surface is dry. Remove the meat from the fridge half an hour before cooking.

Heat the grill and, when it reaches a high temperature, place the fillet on the grill. Cook the fillet for 3-5 minutes on each side. Times vary according to the thickness of the fillet and the desired cooking point. Once cooked, transfer the fillet onto a cutting board and let it rest for a couple of minutes.

With a sharp knife cut the fillet into slices. Put the sliced ​​meat on a serving dish and dress with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and the Carandini Barbecue Glaze with "Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP". Garnish with a few sprigs of fresh rosemary.
