Frankfurter sausage hot dogs with purple cabbage and Sweet White Vinegar

INGREDIENTS for 4 people:

4 hot dog buns
4 frankfurter sausages
½ purple cabbage
3 tbsp Carandini Bianca Sweet White Vinegar
1 small red onion from Tropea
extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper to taste

Method

Finely chop the onion and brown it in a non-stick frying pan with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
Wash and cut the purple cabbage into thin strips. Add the cabbage to the onion and cook for 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add 3 tablespoons of Carandini Bianca Sweet White Vinegar to the frying pan, mix and cook for another 8 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly.

Grill the frankfurter sausages. Open the hot dog buns in half, add the purple cabbage and grilled frankfurter sausages.
Serve the hot dogs hot, accompanied by your favorite glaze or sauce.
