INGREDIENTS for 4 croutons

4 slices of mountain bread
120 ml of Carandini Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
1 large Tropea onion (even a simple red onion is fine)
500 gr of sliced ​​smoked salmon
1 small cucumber
fresh aromatic herbs such as fennel, marjoram, mint or coriander, depending on your preference
100 ml of sour cream
1 tablespoon of honey
extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper

Method

Remove the outer layer of the onion. Finely slice the onion into rings.

Put the Carandini Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, a spoonful of honey and a teaspoon of salt in a pan and boil.

Put the onions in a bowl that can withstand high temperatures and pour the boiling Organic Apple Cider Vinegar over the onions.
Let the onions cool in their marinade.
